PowerWood produces and stocks a wide range of full size Appearance Grade Western Red Knotty Cedar Timbers from 3” thick x 4” wide through to 16” thick by 24” wide (and larger!).
Appearance quality timbers are cut from a mixture of old growth and mature second growth logs. Knotty timbers are the most challenging item to select and inventory. There is a fine balance between fiber quality, knot quality and the cost of the material. Many of the timbers we produce are used in rough out applications.
Because of all of these factors, we invest a lot of time and energy to ensure that all of our timbers ship out to customer specs. Each piece is double checked to ensure it matches the order prior to shipping.
