Role Description
This is a full-time role located in Agassiz, BC, We’re looking for a motivated and organized Jr. Sales and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This hybrid role supports both sales and logistics operations, playing a key part in ensuring a smooth customer experience from order placement to delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Coordination
- Arrange and book transportation for outgoing orders
- Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with customers and carriers
- Enter shipping details and notify the yard to prepare orders
- Keep the sales team informed with timely shipping updates
- Negotiate competitive freight rates with trucking companies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with transportation partners
Junior Sales Support
- Provide daily support to the sales team
- Contact new leads and follow up on potential opportunities
- Process sales orders and manage related administrative tasks
- Communicate order and delivery updates to customers
- Engage in cold calling and lead generation
- Strive to grow sales and develop long-term client relationships
- Self-driven with a strong desire to build a lasting career in sales
Qualifications
- Strong communication and sales skills
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Proficient in using computer systems and software
- Skilled at building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Experience in the lumber or construction industry is a plus
- Pay Range: $60,000 – $70,000 (depending on experience)
